You never have to worry about feeling lost - We will always step in with gentle, easy and fun direction and guidance when you need it, ensuring you feel entirely at ease so you can focus on the present moment.

I'm the heart and the photographer behind Laughing Lamp Photo & Film.
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I’d say I am a fun loving, spontaneous soul who loves nothing more than celebrating real, honest human connection.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to spend the last eight years in the wedding industry, pouring my heart into my work so I can capture your day exactly as it felt. I know that being in front of a camera can feel a little daunting, which is why my biggest goal is to feel less like a vendor and more like a supportive friend who just happens to be capturing your best angles.
Life outside of weddings and editing galleries is a mix of chasing bushveld sunsets and enjoying the beautiful chaos of raising two boys with my husband. You can usually find me soaking up time at a market, dreaming up our next family road trip, or seeking out the most genuine, unforced moments life has to offer.

Tertius is my husband, the lead videographer at Laughing Lamp Photo & Film, and the unofficial comic relief of your wedding day. If you are feeling any nerves about being filmed, he is the one who will have you laughing and completely forget the camera is even there.
He brings such a grounded, fun energy to every celebration. With his deep love for music and his background running a recording studio, he doesn't just have an eye for beautiful, unscripted moments - he has an incredible ear for them. He knows exactly how to weave the sights, the sounds, and the laughter of your day into a cinematic film that feels entirely true to you.
